…consistency! consistency! consistency! is one word i have come to love lately…whether it’s in regards to my Dj skill, career, studies, relationships, family, society actually even with our walk with the Lord.
If you consistently telling the truth…people trust you!
If you consistently practicing be it deejaying, cooking, writing u become better as times go by.
If you consistent in your mannerisms people know what to expect from you and actually believe u.
if your character is consistent all through u don’t need to convince people what u are able to deliver because they can tell right away.
Let’s check out some real life stories of people who were and are consistent in what they do and have been rewarded incredibly.
Steve Jobs – you hear his name and u dont need to be told what he does…he has been producing apple products for as long as we know him.
Wangari Mathaai – she kept fighting for the Environment and she was consistent in her endeavors and the world celebrates her to date.
Juliani – a Kenyan Hiphop Artist…he has stayed at his mission consistently and he has become one of the most influential artists in Kenya.
Daddy Owen is also another example of a consistent artist and 2010…his career soared into even higher heights.
I feel strongly that among other things to greatness and influencing the world one key element that cuts across all is consistency.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: According to a study on the most successful talented people in the world you have to clock 10000hours doing something in order to master it (Quote from the book : Outliers by Gladwell) well talk of doing something over and over again.
